However she has been wounded by Cupid's lead arrow and so has no desire for anyone. Having been pursued by Apollo until exhausted, she appeals to her father for help and at the last moment he turns her into a laurel bush.</div> <div> This is my first excursion in to Greek Mythology and came as a result of a commission to provide two paintings for 'The Four Candles", a new bar and restaurant in the middle of Oxford.
